How many more can you think of?

If we include "fictional" bands or alter-egos there's also:

Ziggy Stardust & the Spiders from Mars
Weevil (kudos to whoever can guess where that's from!)

Since most would probably consider spiders "bug-related," I'll point out that there was a New Orleans vocal group called The Spiders in the early 50s.

Of more recent vintage: The Lime Spiders.

One of the many Beatles knock-off bands, no doubt ficticious, who had albums released in 1964 to try to cash in with unsuspecting parents was The Buggs.

And then there's the Australian band The In-Sect, who had a great punky song ca. 1965 called "I Can See My Love."

then there is the infamous "Halo of Flies", from Minneapolis, late 80's on Amphetamine Reptile Records. There is a compilation of their tunes titled "Music for Insect Minds".

I could kick myself for not snapping up all the 7" singles, etc. of The Insect Surfers that I saw back then. I even had a few that I've sold or traded over the years. Thier stuff is really hard to find now...:realmad:
