This one is a bit obscure and I think it's one of those songs where "Nobody knows the title", but if you're a Boomer it may be familiar. Produced by Norm Petty, it went to #3 in 1960.

By who though....it seems as if it was a hit more than once....? I like Jeff Beck's take.

Soul Coaxin' by Raymond Lefevre is my favourite, followed by a number of other '60s instrumentals like No Matter What Shape, Out of Limits, Telstar and Globetrotter, Mexico and the like. From the '70s there's Joy by Apollo 100.

I remember buying Our Winter Love single back when it was released. I had eclectic tastes as at 14. This brings back some great memories.

I am surprised there are those who remember The Horse.
I think it was out around 1968, it sure got a lot of airplay for a short period of time then seemed to vanish. I don't remember seeing it on a juke box.

You stepped right into my leg-hold trap.... :) Very few folks know the evolution of L'amour est bleu into Love Is Blue. In your case, love was blind... ;)

The local AM station (WFIL) used it a lot to fill time running up to the news on the half hour

If you were listening to the radio at all in early 1968, you would have heard "Love is Blue" umpteen zillion times...take it from one who was there! Good thing I like the song or it would've driven me up the wall.
