They look nice, but the price is a bit stiff. I was watching the video and thinking $35 as a price, but it's actually about $60. Hence, the milkcrate: free from your local dairy (sort of, ahem). I bet dairies were happy to see vinyl die!

 

Dairy ones were never the right size, but there are bigger ones (13" interior) available at packaging chain stores for less than $13, and unlike these wooden dealies they stack and lock. I couldn't find a projected price on the Kickstarter page and the WAF factor of wood is obviously greater, but for utility storage theswe would come up short for me.
