Hello to all. Blame it on the detergent comercial but I'd like to make an entry in my wislist of Irving Berlin's music. What would be a good intro album? There's a songbook by Ella F. which looks ideal. Is it so? A Verve CD. Thanks in advance.
Surprised no one commented on this, if you like Ella's voice, and how can you not, then the "songbook" is an excellent way to get in intro to Berlin's music. There are some great songs on that cd. Enjoy it.
I second the above. All of Ella's Songbooks are terrific, and you can't beat the tunes on the Berlin set. Jeff
