I'd like to know your opinion at something's been crossing my mind for some time, which is buying a tape deck to make analog copies of my vinyl records. First subject is the tape deck itself, which is the way to go? Should I buy a new one from the very few currently manufactured (I want at least Dolby C, better if it has Dolby S and HX-Pro) today, or better look for a second hand in good condition on ebay? Second, tapes? Let's forget I live in Spain (I won't try to find any of decent quality here), are still good quality position II tapes being made? Are they easy to find on line? Another question, am I becoming obsessed (keeping in mind I've only had my turntable for 8 month after 18 years of digital listenning) with getting an all-analog sound? I even don't buy vinyl reissues fearing they are sourced from a digital master. Thanks very much in advance.
