    Just for fun....

I've always wished JURASSIC PARK (the first one) had been directed by Ridley Scott (ALIEN, BLADE RUNNER). Speilberg could have still produced it, but I thought the movie turned into more of an amusement ride than the book was.

Great answer!!! How about "Mission to Mars" as "Mission to Mars - The Martians Strike Back" by Tim Burton?

To be serious, I would have liked to see "Dune" as directed by Roland Emmerich or James Cameron... "Make no mistake!": I love the films of David Lynch, but this one is a bit odd...

I wish that A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) would have been made by Stanley Kubrick. It's a shame his last movie was the awful "Eyes Wide Shut".

Coppola did direct Godfather III (and the first two Godfather films).

 I love Tim Burton, but remake of Planet of the Apes was awful. I would like to see Tim do a remake of "Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory".

It did have that sort of Universal Studios tour feel, didn't it? :)

    Sort of a Goonies ride.

Good thing "Schindler's List" didn't turn out that way...

    Michael I LOVE WIDE S-T-E-R-E-O!

Mars Attacks! Anyone other than Tim Burton...He turned a great Sci-Fi into a joke...He should have named it "Pee Wee Fights The Martians With His Hand Stroke"...If anyone knows and loves the original "Mars Attacks!" Bubble Gum Card set from 1962...they have to be dismayed:(

Wasn't it recently announced that he is going to do just that?

Speaking of Burton, I really dislike what he did to Batman. My pick would be Batman: directed by Quentin Tarantino

I really like NATURAL BORN KILLERS just as it is, but would have been curious to see how Quentin Tarantino would have directed his own script.

A Clockwork Orange by Jim Henson using the muppets. Kermit as Alex: Uhhh, care for a bit of the old in-out, love?

Full Metal Jacket would be interesting, too.

The Muppets. Yes. I see "On The Waterfront" done Muppet style. Good call!

Kermit and Piggy's Muppet Movie reenactment of the airport scene in Casablanca leaves me wondering what might have been.

Almost any Brando movie would be great with the muppets, really. Like Last Tango.

Ed Bishop Incredibly, I'm still here

After the job Irvin Kirshner did with EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, I wished he had done the sequel, too. What a lumbering, static mess!

And while he was at it, George Lucas should have found a few pros to direct the two most recent installments. Maybe they could have made things move and make more sense. Asking too much...

Nice idea, Robert, the Muppets and LAST TANGO. Has possibilites...:D
BLUE VELVET, also....Miss Piggy loses one of her ears....

The Muppet version of Deliverence? Would give a whole new meaning to the notorious Ned Beatty scene!!

P.S. Many years ago, I was watching Family Feud with my brothers. One of the questions was "Name something that squeals." I immediately shouted out "Ned Beatty!"
