    It's news to me, and I have followed a lot of the Beatles LP's and Box Set's. That doesn't mean it's not legit. Maybe it's one of those set's that fell through the cracks.

    It is 100% real and VERY, VERY rare (the box not the individual albums). I know Perry Cox is aware of its existence, but I cannot remember if it is documented in his book as of yet.

    It's absolutely for real. It's been listed in the price gudes for a few years. Near-mint value for the complete set is in the $2,000 range.

    What happened to 'Let It Be'? It doesn't appear to be part of the set...

    I believe it was already out-of-print at that point (I believe it had something to do with United Artists) and that is the reason it was heavily pirated in the mid to late 70's. Capitol later reissued it in 1982 and it has been in print ever since.
