I found an auction for a Japanese first pressing RCA CD of David Bowie Station to Station. The seller says the following:

Is this seller one of us? He sure talks like one of us. ;) Here's a link to the auction:

Yeah, I noticed this one as well and thought "must be a lurker or a quiet member".

Good eyes Keith. You aren't going to bid on this one too, are you? ;)

Dave, no, I am not going to bid. Have at it. ;) I haven't been going after the RCA Bowies on eBay. I have a decent stash right now, and the Japanese pressings always seem to be around. Don't get me wrong, though. They're great discs.

I saw something else on e-bay a few weeks ago with a similar "hoffman seal of approval" in the seller's description. Must be (a) lurker(s)

I think some eBayers will search Google for the title and find our site.

However, I did find "Hoffman DCC" written in white font against a white background the other day. I think it was for an MFSL or Sony gold disc.

Wow, I said "our site." Weird... I guess I'm really attached to this place. ;)

Wow! I'm both humbled and surprised by your generous offer and graciously accept even though I would never intentionally bid against a friend and fellow member.

    Thanks Jeffrey! :)

One thing about watching each others back in auctions. If member A and B both want an item, and A is willing to bid $50, and B is only willing to bid $30, and A agrees to not bid to let B get it, there might be a sniper or another bidder who will end up winning it at $32, $40 or $45.

As a result, the winner could have been member A, but he did not bid, and member B got outbid - end result: Neither member gets the CD.

I don't know the seller but he sure has a cool handle.
That's from a song by The Band with Van Morrison right?
    Cheers-
