Just a quick observation- With so much out there in such a wide range of budgets and formats, I'm really pleased with how this music hobby has grown in the last few years. If you were to go back 5 years and look at some of the posts here and take a look at what we wanted, I think we should be quite pleased. In addition to the entire catalog of what has always been available on vinyl until the 80's. Some examples: The current renaissance of vinyl and reissues on vinyl and CD/SACD is pretty impressive to me. I also picked up tons of gently used Atlantic and Chess import reissue LP's (circa 1970's) at Princeton Record Exchange last week in addition to a bunch of great new and used CD's. I received the Acoustic Sounds and MusicDirect catalogs this past week and see a ton of promising reissues in the pipeline, including Jazz and Rock SACD's and Vinyl. We have 20-something years of CD's to hunt down; 50-something years of vinyl, and the recent and upcoming reissues on all sorts of formats. If you like your downloads, etc. there are lo-res and hi-res ways to store them. Maybe it's just me, but I'm just quite pleased.
