It has been six years since the last Dylan album of original material. I am hoping for one more....at least.
Jon Brion -- his one and only solo album (Meaningless) came out in 2001. It's all been film scores since then. (If not a new studio album, I'd certainly settle for a Live From Largo compilation.)
<------- Last studio album "Somewhere Under Wonderland" came out 2 Sept 2014...would be nice to hear new music or even vault material...
Last Sunday he has released a brand new, unreleased song called "Terre Happy", under the form of a download link on his official Twitter account, before removing it a few hours later... but leaving the comments regarding it. Now the download link has expired. PM me if you would like the song.
I liked 25 quite a bit more than 21, especially the second half. I really understood that record, whereas 21 is essentially a breakup record and I've never had a really nasty breakup. Adele and I are the same age, so I am enjoying maturing with her. I think she's going to be an artist who puts out an album every 4-5 years. That seems to be her pace, and it helps build anticipation for the new release as well. I respect that she takes her time.
Don't know what the lovely Kate Walsh has been doing since she said she was going to be taking a break from music a few years ago? I don't think I'm alone when I say a new album would be really nice.
Do you mean a second solo album? I thought that Dust Bunnies was the album that came out after the book. (I don't have the book and may be wrong.)
I think Ryan should take a break and really think about his next album release. He's started to go down hill IMO . Might be time to re release the brilliant Live after deaf vinyl boxset for the fans that missed its original release and have to pay silly money for used Boxsets. Stops the bandit sellers.
David Gilmour. When he released Rattle That Lock, he said that he felt he'd 'cracked it' concerning how to make an album, and had loads more songs that would go to a followup album that he was enthused about recording. That is, if it's facts that I'm remembering and not some delusion after eating too many pickled onions.
Nowadays I prefer Karl Bartos solo albums than output from Kraftwerk itself.[/QUOTE]Thats not a lot of listening time .
