UK singles will be officially released in 2010. As shown on post #137

  2. Apple is releasing all of this on 09/09/09 along with the new "Rock Band" video game, so it's clearly an all-out multimedia product campaign for this fall...not that I'm complaining, mind you!

The official site says the digipaks are "Limited edition eco-friendly packaging." Could jewel cases follow?

No mention of the 4 new (to the) YELLOW SUBMARINE LP tracks in the mono box.

You can take the new CDs out of the digipaks and put them into the nwew "Box of Vision" that will be out in August.

Reading between the lines, my guess is that the ltd ed digipak versions will have the QT doco bonus content. Later jewel case editions won't.

How? Do you really think these will sound THAT good?

I have my doubts that they'll sound better than my needledrops.

Personally I'm anticipating he new Dylan more then these, but I'm happy for the folks that have been waiting forever for them!

Fantastic news... but would have liked a hi-rez release. I guess SACD and DVDA (and perhaps even HDCD) really is on the way out :(

I was hoping hi-rez Beatles might kick start the audiophile music revolution... Down with No-Noise, Down with brickwalling, Long Live SACD!

Nevermind, I'll settle for great sounding redbook CDs (fingers crossed).

I'm sorely tempted to pre-order all of these right now…

    Good news day!

I wonder if they will sound as good as my 1970's cassette tape transfers from vinyl? Don't let me down.

I am trusting Jeff Jones and the engineers that brainwashed has faith in.

Plus, this artwork alone is incredible.

    content confirmed ?

I'm happy for you fellas stereo mono happy days

I take it the content is confirmed ? No bonus tracks not a single one ?

    Is that true ?

That would be the end of the long winding road for me with the beatles.
I noticed Past Masters had been altered into a double and some singles
were being released so I wasn't sure if any bonus tracks had been included

It appears there is not even one bonus track and that would be game
    set and match.

Frankly I thought the samples sounded pretty good, I wont be buying them.

    lol!~

I HATED that XHE tape brand - those tapes ALWAYS broke, or wore out very quickly. Give me the Fabs on Maxell ANYDAY!

I don't see the 8-track boxed sets though...I am worried!!

    FAB news indeed!!!

Regarding the newly combined Past Masters Mono CD: The press release says that it will be "featuring a similar track listing" compared to the Past Masters Stereo CD.

Since it does not say the "exact same track listing", does this imply that it won't be the same as the Past Masters Stereo CD? Maybe there will be a different track listing for the Mono vs. Stereo sets of the Past Masters sets?

I think the bonus tracks, if there will be any, should be regulated to a sperate disc. I like the idea of "just the original album" on one cd.

If there had been bonus tracks, Apple would've listed it on the announcement, I think. I think the Anthologies are the "bonus tracks" as far as they're concerned.

Can't access the Beatles site here for some reason, so:

Is Past Masters now a two-CD set? Instead of individual volumes?
