I just watched it. You know I'd probably break down if I got the chance to sing and hang with Paul.

I thought the segment was particularly moving. Quite enjoyed seeing him at his boyhood home. Wonder why the Cavern wasn't visited, but it doesn't matter much. Altogether sweeter than I guessed it would be.

I am entirely shocked that Come On To Me was performed but no mention at all of its current availability or of Egypt Station.

Thank you, my TV reception decided to be very spotty tonight, so this kept breaking up all through the segment.

Hah, seeing a 74-year-old Paul play "When I'm 64" on piano back in his childhood home is amazing. That was my favorite part.

I skipped through most of the singing parts. Most interesting was Paul visiting his childhood home. It's worth watching for that. For someone that has never had a chance to take a Beatles tour in Liverpool, it's nice seeing how it looks modern day. The part with Paul in the little room enjoying the sound of it was great.

Now normally I can't stand Corden, but, if you're a Beatle fan, and if last night didn't bring a tear to your eye, you have no soul.

Best Paul appearance on a talk show, ever.

Cordon mentioned it later in the show, I believe.

Can't stand the Corden show, but enjoyed the Paul segment. Well worth seeking out online, if you missed it (IMO).

I’m not a fan of Corden nor the Beatles, but I thought this was excellent.

This is exactly why I was able to quit broadcast TV 5 years ago. If it's big enough, I'll still see it within hours of it's happening, anyway, thanks to social media, and without the annoying commercials !!! :righton:

For a guy in his '70s to attract such adoration from the general public regardless of their age is still remarkable. The guy can't walk down the street without being mobbed by people wanting to tell him how much he's affected their lives.

You can hate "old music", you can hate "The Beatles", you can have loved them and now be sick of them, but you cannot deny their impact on the world of music and the lives of millions and millions of slobs like me! To me the best part of that piece was the reaction of the ordinary people who just happened to be in the area.
