I gotta say; not a great start for the new year, at least for me. The new edition of 'Notorious' might be a little better than the MGM BluRay but, other than than possibility, there's really nothing here I want. Same as last month. Looks like I'm going to have a lot of money freed up to catch up on the older titles that fell prey to procrastination.

still no 3.5 hour Directors cut of Larry Crowne (with intermission music restored)? Critics discuss Ozu's genius at obeserving everyday life, but Larry Crown is sublime mediation on making French Toast. You can't get more Ozu than that.

The new 2019 picture has been released... let the speculation begin!

Swing Time might be the most obvious pun.
Three soda bottles - I'm hoping for One, Two, Three.
The sled - is that bamboo, or are they Kanes?
I look forward to this game every year.

    B. and C. Owl and Worm = Hedwig and the Angry Inch

    D. S Balloon =

    E. Angel = An Angel at My Table

    F. 3 Cokes = Koker Trilogy

    G. and H. V in the Hand of Jesus = La Vie de Jesus

    I. Rabbit/Warren peas = War and Peace

    J. Dads = Children of Men / Europa Europa / One Sings the Other Doesn’t

    K. K Lute = Klute

    M. Bamboo Sled = Bamboozled

    N. Clock in the swing = Swing Time

Looks like Klute is finally getting a blu ray release. Apparently, rights issues have been the stumbling block.

Klute and Mickey & Nickey are the ones I'm most interested in, especially Klute, which I absolutely love.
