Agreed. Seen that one a while back. Wasn't it the last film she made before she died?

I saw Cold Fish tonight. It was an incredibly disturbing but gripping film at the same time. It makes Tarantino look tame by comparison.

Wait whoa. I know nothing about this BD version. Is it region-free and do you have any further information about it? I've been waiting for a good HD treatment of RAN since forever.

This classic was released yesterday and is a nice upgrade. It is currently half-priced at BN.com. A great time to pick up any of Criterion's film offerings.

Probably mentioned it before but as it's pretty much my favorite film of all time I'll mention it again: Swallowtail Butterfly by Shunji Iwai is amazing!

What ever Japanese movie you get make sure it is dubbed! Or else you will waste a lot of time reading subtitles and get a migrane!

  24. It's still enjoyable if you haven't seen the anime adaptation, but Death Note is a very entertaining movie.
