Jean Michel Jarre will be touring Europe this year. Including performances at festivals.

I booked my tickets for Amsterdam in November.

 

Jean Michel Jarre is coming to Israel on September for a live show ! its the first time he comes to perform in my country. Expected to reach 15 thousand people, will be selling tickets in 24 countries around the world.
The show will be in the beautiful landscape of the dead sea. I know the tread is about the tour in Europe but I am so excited so I had to share

I found his music Emotional and beautiful, dramatic and powerful, fascinating and mesmerizing.

Jarre to release Oxygène 3 album on December 2nd, 2016: Jean Michel Jarre - Oxygene 3 released on 2/12/16 ».

Big surprise: on his website he promises he will play excerpts of the new album during his tour. This is going to be fun, I can't wait.

 

I'll be seeing him in Oslo and Stockholm this weekend! And saw hints Bluedot Festival in July.

Now it's official!! The legendary Jean Michel Jarre is coming to the Dead sea in Israel for live show!!
lots of fans from Europe and around the world are also coming to this Exciting show,
It is expected that 70 thousand people will come to the live show !

Ticket sales have already started ! its going to be a concert full with lots of effects and visual experience.

I visited his show in Amsterdam. Great visuals and nice music. The most impactful were the moments when he used the woofers to actually make my pants tremble.

Jean Michel Jarre cares a lot about Nature and this is the reason he chose to play the live performance on this specific place in the country.

Thanks Yost. I've just recently got back into JMJ with his 2 Electronica releases.

 

It's the first gig in every one of these cities. Houston 1986 was his only US gig for 31 years.

 

Have you thought about going to one of the CA shows? I assume you could get to Seattle and fly fairly cheaply to CA. Probably a lot less than Toronto or Montreal.

 

I was traveling in the UK 4 months ago and it lineup up with the London O2 arena gig. Unusually good and one of the only english speaking places that can fill an arena for him.

I got tickets for the Philly show...excited though admittedly I only am really familiar with Oxygene and Equinoxe. Curious that he's booked to play the Tower Theatre and Radio City Music Hall; I'd think these venues would be a little too big for someone who isn't exactly a household name here in the US.

The concert will be different for most of its time, then. It's actually mostly Electronica parts 1 & 2 tracks, mixed with some Oxygène and (if I remember correctly) one Equinoxe track. Here in Europe you actually watch full concert footage on YouTube from a number of concerts of the current tour.

 

Word-for-word ditto, except that I sprang for a pit pass at the Staples Center. Will be interesting to see how sales go - would hate to see tix being dumped on Goldstar. Now I better start learning his stuff.

 

Not sure how the US tour is selling. There are a lot of good seats available for the Colorado show last time I looked.

Plenty of pit tickets for L.A. still available, 36 hours after on-sale.

 

Less than 3 weeks away. I'm listening to Equinox as I write this. My wife and I are planning where we are going to eat before the show. Totally excited.
