If Steven Wilson turns out to be unavailable for remixing Stormwatch I wonder if Ian Anderson himself will take a crack at it. He certainly has several S.W. templates to work from.
There's a German documentary with live footage from Apr 1 1980 Munich. It's the tailend of the European Stormwatch Tour.
This remix will be just as good as songs and horses. The album wasn’t as good but the bonus track collection will be a lot better. Ian needs to delay this release for as long as possible so that Wilson gets a chance to do it
Repeat. Jethro Tull "This Was" and Mr. Steven Wilson Let's hope this storm happens with Steven Wilson. HRAC Exclusive: Steven Wilson Talks Hi-Res, 'To the Bone' & 5.1 Mixing Aspirations - Hi Res Audio Central Mettler: So we’ve recently gotten in hand the surround version you’ve done for Songs From the Wood (1977), and I imagine Heavy Horses (1978) will soon follow. What comes after that? Is it A (1980), or The Broadsword and the Beast (1982)? Wilson: Stormwatch (1979) would be next. Mettler: Right, right. Would you do Stormwatch in 5.1, if Ian Anderson asked you to do it? Wilson: I would. In terms of future Jethro Tull — hopefully Heavy Horses early next year, and Stormwatch hopefully sometime late next year. After that, I honestly can’t say. Mettler: Understood. Was The Broadsword and the Beast an album that was on your radar? Wilson: It’s an album I know, and I like it, so that could be something, yeah. And I do love that this stuff comes to me to do, but I’m proactive too. I’ll go out there and I’ll try to talk people into letting me have a go at their catalog. Repeat.
So far we have ambiguous abbreviations: SW = Steven Wilson SW = Stormwatch This will confuse me as much as when both "Steves" did "Close To The Edge" ( I have both).

SW = Steve Winwood Regarding Jakko not likely contributing a live mix for Stormwatch. Maybe it'll be only a stereo recording like Live at Stockholm on the Stand Up set. I believe Jakko didn't remix that recording, did he?
I'd have to hear it, of course - but this wouldn't be an automatic buy for me. Anyone BUT Anderson, actually. I think we need Mr. Wilson, and I'd rather wait for him to have the time, than have Anderson do it.
I think this would be better served by waiting for Steven Wilson to become available rather than rush to release it with some other knave.
Yeah, something like that but this is 1979 we're talking about, so sound quality will be expected to be better?!
