Jico (Shure) N3 Stylus

Hello--

I'm done playing around with "purported" NOS Shure on the popular auction site.

I have heard great things about Jico, but their spartan website--surprising considering the thorough, unwavering attention to detail of the Japanese--leaves a bit to be desired. For those who have experience with this stylus, is the Jico N3 an exact replacement for the Shure N3D that tracks from 3 - 6 grams? If so, why do they leave the "D" off of this particular Shure model?

Naturally I have sent them an email, and I figured I would ask here while I await the response. In the meantime, my Garrard 4HF/Fairchild system is out of action.
