Anybody see the premier of this new show last week? An interesting premise sort of based on the Joan Osborne, I think it's her, song about "what if God walked among us as a mortal?" Some fun music on the show as well, including Sinead O'Connor's cover of Dylan's "I Believe in You."

I happened upon this while surfing, about five minutes in. In spite of being dubious about the premise, I ended up watching all of it. It seemed better written than the average drama--there was only the occasional wince for too-cute dialogues or situations. And the music was eclectic without being overbearing--if that makes sense. With Mary Steenbergen and Joe Mantegna in there pitching I think I'll tune in again to see how it develops.
