I searched in vain for a deal on the MFSL Silver CD. I finally bit the bulletin and coughed up $30.00 for a used copy. Boy was it worth it. I could kick myself for waiting so long.

I prefer the Barnstorm version. The re-recording sounds like an Eagles track.

This is the 1st one I heard, or maybe it was on Don Kirschner first (same show) [Joe Walsh live on Don Kirshner's Nov. 26 1975 (Full Concert) ], but the studio versions aren't as good IMO.

I used to have an audio cassette that I made of that show, by holding a mic in front of the TV speaker.

I voted for Barnstorm, but I nearly always play the outstanding version from, You Can't Argue With A Sick Mind. The chord sequence after the excellent flute break, to get back to the main riff is simply magnificent.

The remix. I believe that's the version I've always known.

I actually REALLY dig Henley's ride cymbal expertise and overall drumming

Wow! That rips! I never thought I would listen to a Joe Walsh song and like Felder's solo better. But got give him credit. What a fantastic solo.

Thanks for sharing. Are there any official live eagles releases from this era? I know of the one from 1980, but it doesn't rip like this performance.

I voted for original Barnstorm version but like Randoms states in post 29 my go to is on the Live cd "You Can't Argue With A Sick Mind". That is one of my very favorite live albums. A deluxe version of this with better mastering and additional tracks would be awesome.

I need to get me another copy. Mine was damaged/destroyed during a move in 2014. Haven’t got around to replacing...family and work are the priorities.

Odd situation, as the MFSL Barnstorm was the only disc damaged...and one box set lost but since replaced :)

The mastering is ok on the old plaid back cd, but a deluxe edition of Sick Mind is a must

I voted So What. Like that Barmstorm is longer, but the Turn to Stone on So What fits like a glove

Every song on this recording is my favorite version... BUT- sonics are terrible.

Does anyone know of a decent sounding version of this show?

    Joe LIVE trumps Joe Recorded.

There’s nothing wrong with the sonics on that live album. The YouTube upload sucks...scratchy vinyl with groove distortion. Grab either:

    Vinyl...rainbow ABC label
    CD...MCA plaid back disc

    You’ll not be disappointed

:agree: I have a white label promo copy and it sounds pretty damn good. Never heard the cd version—I made a neeedrop of the lp for on-the-go listening. Love to crank it in the car
