Well did some listening to this, with some A-B ing on some tracks. Give Peace A Chance now sounds like a studio version, it is much clearer on John's vocal but the previous live feel (it was basically live at the Bed-In) is gone. Depending how you feel about this, I kind of like it, but its not how you remember it. On #9 Dream, they took away the dreamy feel of the song (probably reverb, and haze), now it sounds sterile. Not good, since its supposed to be dreamy. Since Walls & Bridges will be coming out soon, expect some of those songs to sound different. However, Nobody Loves YouWYDAO sounds very good. My Fave on this is Instant Karma, to me this is the best version, the track has a more open and stereo seperated mix than other versions. I like it. Whatever Gets You thru the Night , is too clean sounding, I like the sound of the original. I'm Losing You (from Anthology) is missing the talking before the track from Lennon. New York City remix is terrible, you now lose sax & lead guitar for bass. Lousy Along the same lines, the remastered Mind Games CD, cleans up way too much Meat City, which was a rockin gritty track now it sounds way too clean. Not good since we wont hear the original mix again unless you have the original CD's. What can you do!
