John Mellencamp may record new album with his classic 80's band

I'm beginning to think this might actually happen, at least according to this article.

Kenny Aronoff is touring with Fogerty in March/April and will be touring with Chickenfoot this summer and fall.

 

I'm thinking that if this ''the rock album'' were to happen it would be sometime next year at the earliest, i do recall reading in some recent article Kenny saying that he and John had patched up their differences and that there's a real possibility they'd work together again.

 

Now that Kenny is "Rock's Greatest and Most In Demand Drummer" (from his website ) I doubt he will ever be in one band again like he was for John's band.
