Jolie Holland & Samantha Parton, two of the original "Be Good Tanyas" are back together and have an album coming out in September....

I'm in - always liked the Tanyas and have bought Jolie's albums too. Teaser video sounds good, looking forward to hearing more.

 

Thanks for the news, prompted me to pull out Jolie's Wine Dark Sea for a long overdue listen, and still really love this record, though I remember you weren't too keen on it at the time, and definitely sounds quite different from what the two of them are doing together. Crazy that you can still pick up the great sounding 2-LP 45RPM set (with CD) for under $15. Guess she didn't pick up many new fans with that one

 

I've warmed up to Jolie's last album somewhat - definitely grows with a few more plays, but I don't think it'll ever be in my top list of her records.

 

Bit of a shameless bump for this project - only 15 days left in the pledge period and only 55% of goal. This ought to be a very good record....
