Not seeing Silent Running listed on amazon yet. Ok, found it from a back door through bluray.com. A search does not turn it up yet.

Silent Running. Hands down the most lovable robots ever in film. Wall-E #2.

I did a blind buy on "Journey to the Far Side of the Sun" when the DVD came out around 2007 or so. I remember thinking "bummer, HD-DVD and Blu-ray are brand new, it would have been cool to see this in HD." I guess they finally got around to it seven or eight years later. Kind of an odd title for Universal to put out themselves rather than license out. Perhaps the DVD sold well enough to justify it?

Both very interesting movies. I can recall quite a few Star Wars critics noting R2D2's similarity to Huey, Louie, and Dewey from Silent Running, but I think only die hard fans cared.
