Just a good best of and one great studio album could be enough for you.

It doesn't mean you only own a best of compilation and one studio album by them or only stream those songs, but if you could only pick 2 albums by them and one was a best of and the other a studio album, than who?

For me I'll go with U2

    Best Of - 1980- 1990
    Studio - Achtung Baby

The only Pretenders you need are the debut and The Singles.

I'll say Simon and Garfunkel. The Greatest Hits with Simon in the Timbs on the cover and Bookends or maybe Bridge.

Definitely, in the case of the late great Dan Fogelberg, it would be:

    The Innocent Age 1981
    Dan Fogelberg's Greatest Hits 1982

Both are my two favorite releases by him.

No. I do like SHA a lot, but Queen II is the one I play and enjoy the most, and have done so now for a shocking 43 years !!!!! Where the Hell has that gone ??

The only ones I could agree with are Echo and The Bunneymen and Meatloaf so far .. I like the other bands too much.
Generally if I like band enough to get an album, I will get a few

God, that's so wrong it's not even funny.

Desperado is their best studio album, and you should replace Hotel California w/GH2
