Just won a White Album on the black rainbow Capitol label

Judging by the French and the item being listed in Euro dollars, this Canadian seller is obviously targeting France. Too bad. I just won the Beatles White Album up for sale here on eBay. I had heard that very briefly in the early/mid 1980s Capitol Canada pressed a run of The Beatles LPs on the retro black rainbow label. It will be cool to get this. I've never seen any in the used record shops. I hope this pressing is as nice as the original Canadian Apple, which is pretty good.

Did Capitol U.S. press any of the Beatles LPs on the retro black rainbow label in the 1980s, or were they all still on Apple?

Thanks Ben. I see the thread is on the first page right now.

It will be interesting to hear this LP. If the retro label 80s U.S. pressings are considered good, I can't wait to hear this White Album.
