Sad industry news today: director Zach Snyder is stepping down because of the unexpected suicide death of his daughter. Industry vet (and former Marvel director) Joss Whedon is going to take over to finish the film for the fall:

That is very sad news.

The action sequence hints with the Flash and Cyborg look great. Don't know about the rest of the movie, but those should be cool to see.

Cyborg?
The same old, same old.

Not impressed.

But, the JL trailer looks promising..anything better than
The Suicide Squad.

 

As an ol' skool comix fan, I hate how, in the books and now this movie, they've replaced J'ohn J'onzz with Cyborg. Basically a 2nd rate Iron Man knockoff is hardly a worthy replacement for one of the JL' s founding father's! And don't get me started on the character's depiction in the Supergirl show, looks like a reject from the 1st season of Star Trek!

 

I agree. I always thought cyborg was alright, but definitely not anywhere near the Martian Mahhunter.

God Wonder Woman was great, I hope Justice League is too & hopefully they can do these heros right. It's not too late for the DC movie universe to turn things around.

 

Saying that why is the DC justice /Batman v Superman always night scenes ..so dark. On the other hand Marvel's new Thor ( also November release) is much brighter days scenes etc

 

The filter or color palette or whatever used on the DC movies are one of the things I dislike most about them. I didn't like the way a few Marvel movies looked pretty bad to me too, especially Civil War. However, the new Thor & Spider-Man look good.

 

Not complaining mind.
This justice league..delivers regardless.

Winter Soldier was way better.

 

I must be the only person not impressed with this preview! Just looks like more of the same ol' same ol'! The one I'm somewhat looking forward to is the Thor/Hulk 'buddy' flick!
