Karrin Allyson in KC last night was fantastic! Don't miss her tonight (Saturday 7/27) if you are in the area. (18th & Vine - The Blue Room) It's her birthday and a celebration for Todd Strait, who is moving from the KC area. Bob Bowman was great as usual, as was Danny Embrey. Todd is incredible, we will miss him terribly. Paul Smith was his usual playful self on piano. Gerald Dunn worked the boards and Bill McGlaughlin helped sell Karrin's newest cd, which hasn't been released yet. We'll have a few LPs there also. Good time to get them signed. I just picked up a copy of Ballads. An excellent recording of a wonderful performer. Highly recommended!
