Aggggghhhhhhh! I missed out AGAIN! - I have never, ever been so gutted at not being able to get a ticket for a show. Not EVER. Including Led Zeppelin at the O2. - I've waited over 35 years for this and I just can't stand it!!!

There are a bunch of discussion groups out there. On one my wife is on, some people who bought tickets and who aren't able to go are contacting Eventim about transferring their tickets to other people.

Join one of the groups and make your case. I know it's a pain, but the whole system is designed to minimize scalping. I can't imagine what the prices would be like if these were scalped.

Has there been any drop in prices on the resale sites yet?

I honestly wouldn't even consider going to one of them. The way the tickets are set up, every buyer was limited to purchasing a total of 4 tickets, and if they are for the same night, all four people have to be there at once. Which means any scalpers would have to escort you in, then duck back out to escort another three people in.

As I said, try to get in as the guest of someone who is going, who is stuck with an extra ticket because they split up with the person they bought the ticket for originally, or they were abducted by aliens or something. Everyone wants to get their extra ticket to someone who has been waiting just as long as they have, or longer rather than the person willing to pay the most.

We're using a fellow fan's extra tickets, and our original tickets are being used by a friend who is traveling from Bali and a photographer who have done sessions with Kate in the past.

I'm thinking more of fans listing possible extra seats rather than pro-scalpers who won't attend. I'm sure some fans bought extra ticket to off-set travel costs and won't know anyone in London.

I'm also thinking the "price" might drop to more reasonable levels after opening night if it's skimpy on the old hits. On the other hand, crazy fans may love show and go nuts trying to see additional shows.

Invariably some tickets drop 1-3 weeks before big concerts so check every day would be my advice. That said, this is not just any concert. A friend of a friend is working on the show and virtually no-one involved in it has got guest tickets, which is unusual.

    Yippee!
After missing out on the first lot I just booked a ticket for £145 for 23rd September. Have to go on my own as there was only one ticket, but still.

I am sorry to do this, but I don't have the time to read through the whole thread. Is there any info about what songs Kate is going to play at the shows? Has anything been announced?

I've read plenty about the show. There have been no announcements and nothing is official. There is speculation that Kate will perform The Ninth Wave (side 2 of Hounds of Love) in its entirety and perhaps a lot of Aerial (maybe an album side?). Otherwise, it's all guesswork at this point. Those lucky enough to have tickets to the first couple of shows will enlighten the rest of us. My show is at the end of the series, and I wouldn't be surprised if boots of the early shows surface by the time I get to attend a show.

Thanks for answering. I really hope that Kate performs other songs as well, but whatever happens, I am sure that it will be great.

I bit the bullet and got a hospitality ticket for the 23 September show. Travelling from Melbourne but I just couldn't stand the thought of missing the opportunity - and you get fed as well with hopefully Kate providing tickling piano dinner music in the background. Mark - if you're in London around then - fancy a pint and some inane platter chatter?

I should still be around then. My concert is on 5th Sept I think? Send me a message when you're in town. :)

Since this is probably going to be a 500 pound plus ticket proposition at this point, I won't even consider making that move until I see a set list from the first few nights. My nightmare set would be a big hunk of Ariel and the Ninth Wave.

Well I think that The Ninth Wave is a certainly given the promotional photography for the tour. I don't think she'll play a huge amount from Aerial. No guest appearance from Rolf Harris fortunately. Prob a couple from 50 Words. I suspect that she'll rotate the older stuff through the residency to keep her interest going!
