 She's certainly not out of tune on the Keith & Donna album.

You're right, I was just jokin'. I've always liked the album. The Godchaux's and Garcia could have done a cool gospel album, based on some of these tunes and the ones they did live in the Garcia Band.

I just listened to this album again for the second time ever via this youtube link:

As others in this thread have said, I'm a bit surprised there hasn't been some kind of reissue. It's a good record, and Garcia's presence is fairly ubiquitous.

I believe a limited run would sell well enough, especially if you slap a 'featuring Jerry Garcia' sticker on it. (And I think that's justified, he plays on every track and even sings.)

Seastones and Mickey Hart's On the Edge are out there on CD, just to name two discs that Garcia appears on that are far less 'accessible' than this one was.

Believe it or not, I heard this album for the first time today . I ran across it in a local store. Overall very enjoyable.

I have to disagree with Donna though. I love "River Deep, Mountain High".

A few years ago, the Rock Hall had on exhibit a copy of Garcia's handwritten list of songs to rehearse for their spring 1977 tour, one of which was "Showboat".

I'm glad to hear people are finding this LP in stores.

I'm assuming it was not new?

It hasnt been reissued. It is easy to find a cheap copy on Discogs, though.
