Should I go out and get this, or will there be a super-duper box set once Vol. 2 gets released on DVD?

I've read several rumors about a deluxe edition of the "Kill Bill" saga. In fact today the digital bits has a bit about that (http://www.thedigitalbits.com/#mytwocents). I'll probably rent the original so I can see it again before Vol. II this weekend (which currently has a perfect rating at rottentomatoes.com)

Thanks, T. I'll probably do the same.

I ended up buying Kill Bill Volume 1 at WalMart for $15.24. At that price its worth owning at this point since it is a movie you can watch over and over.

The "Super Duper Kill Bill Set" may not come out for over a year.

That's a good point, too, John (as you can see, I'm easily swayed). I'll see how much Costco's selling it for this week, and probably impulse buy it.

Please let that be the official name for a future special edition!

True, but it undoubtedly will have lots and lots of "special" features!

One cool thing about DVDs is they are easy to sell on eBay.

Once it is formally announced that the "Super Duper Kill Bill Set" is on its way to a street date, you can sell your mint pre-owned copy and make back most of the $15 bucks.

Makes more sense than renting at Blockbuster for almost $5 bucks anyway.

There's allegedly an "uncensored" Japanese edition.

Yes, there is. You get the "House Of Blue Leaves" sequence in full color and a couple other additions. It comes out of Friday. I've got mine pre-ordered already. I can't wait.

Very true. I've resolved to avoid renting at blockbuster whenever possible nowadays. I can usually get the same thing on ebay used (or even new) for not a whole lot more.

Maybe I missed something but during the first scene of the movie, Vivica A. Fox is introducing Uma Thurman to her daughter. When the Uma say "My name is.... " there is a bleep each time. Anybody know why? Is this an error? I didn't see the movie at the theater so I am not sure if it supposed to be there or not.

It's not an error. It was deliberately placed there. You're not supposed to know her name.

anybody else going to the first show tommw of Kill Bill 2?

I'm going to the earliest show I can find on Long Island (its supposed to be a gorgeous day here and I don't want to completely waste it in a movie theater).

I spring for the DVD at Best Buy, where they were offering it for $19.99 with the Reservoir Dogs deluxe edition thrown in gratis. I figure I can ebay Vol 1. if and when the super duper box comes out. In the meantime, I could stand to see both movies again.

Anyone have comments on the Reservoir Dogs set?
