Whenever I watch Borbetomagus, I ask myself "Are they taking the piss?" But no, they appear serious.

I want to catch up with his previous records including the ones under different names. So far i've listened to 6 Feet Beneath The Moon which is almost as good as The OOZ. What else is recommended?

  4. It's cute, sometimes catchy.

I can't think of anything that is weird any more, the world has caught up: Limbus, Beefheart, Biota, Sand, overtone singing, mouth music, etc.,

Both his albums under the King Krule name are such great ones to return to a long time after release. Sometimes a bit overwhelming on first go, but on returning they just reap so many rewards for listening again.

Currently re-playing The OOZ from 2017 and its brilliant

This new album material is turning out to be quite dark

Saw King Krule a few years ago, last year as well, and thought he was more a current-day Billy Bragg. Definitely not my idea of weird. But pretty good.

His new album is so good, damn. Definitely the best album he's done.

Pretty cool. Not gonna get into the snotty one upmanship of how stuff in the past was first in being weird. I think they are just themselves and don't care. I like it. Thanks for the new music nudge. Nick Cave is way off base for these guys. Don't see it.

I know this song from the NBA 2K19 video game. I like it. He doesn't look like what I imagined he would.
I will definitely check out more of his music.

No download code with the vinyl :realmad:

Its a very, very, druggy album.

Man, it might be as good as The Ooz, which I thought had a vaguely Two-tone/Specials Ghost Town vibe to it. This one is more Massive Attack/druggy dub. Really good and not really weird.
