So bad it was almost good...no, it was terrible. I went to the bathroom in the middle and almost didn't go back. Draining my bladder was more satisfying than the movie itself. I will say that it has one redeeming character for music fans.
I never get the, we have to destroy nearly everything we put in place in the last movie concept that is used so often is these kinds of films.
I liked the first one so much I was really looking forward to this one. And I still might see it. But it's getting dreadful reviews.
I saw the first one. A bit of fun I suppose, but I thought it was rubbish. Not really my type of film.
The first one was so disgustingly bad I can't believe they made a second one. Definitely on my list of "movies that didn't deserve a sequel." Or rather "movies that never deserved to be made in the first place," would be more appropriate. Puerile pubescent junk.
The second one magnifies the stupidity of the first one...x1000...they also hint at more to come...'it's not the ending, it's just the beginning.'
I'm kinda surprised they're making a franchise out of this. I get the big box office appeal, but the Kingsman films are just such a weird mixture of other works, a bit too derivative in my opinion, while being unique in a dubious way. I did enjoy the American version of the Kingsman they brought into the sequel, though.
I enjoyed the second as I did the first. Taking your brain out of 'stressed out 21st century schizoid person' mode is a good thing and this film did that - I bought the Blu-Ray, with its great selection of special features.
Haaaaarible. Everything I liked in the first film was absent in the second. Badly done, real "hit 'em over the head" action/comedy BS. Stupid movie.
Elton John took me right out the film, not that he needed much persuasion. Felt sorry for actor Pedro Pascal his character's turn to mince meat, beaten to a pulp, remember Game Of Thrones.
I loved and purchased the special edition versions of both (first comes with a book and photos, second came with whiskey stones). I'd have preferred if they didn't kill off everyone, but other than that, I thought Golden Circe was great. Same with Secret Service.
