It seems like the last few projects have been a little less loud. I'm talking about VGPS and tracks from the same era on The Kinks in Mono, Waterloo Sunset: The Very Best of The Kinks & Ray Davies compilation, Dave's Hidden Treasures, and Part One: Lola versus Powerman and the Moneygoround. Maybe even Arthur.

 

Rather typically for a Kinks release, the release date has been pushed back to 17th November.

Why would they remaster it again so it sounds exactly the same as before?

Sandoval had extensive discussions at this forum with members who felt the Deluxe Editions were too bright. There is a possibility he will take the edge off this box set.
