This thread hardly makes me an expert. I just know bad sounds when I hear it. What I heard in that clip was not good.

I had to download Steppinwolf after I mentioned Snowblind Friend. A friend and I went to watch our buddies play at Toads Place in New Haven one night in the 70s and we look over and sitting across from us is John Kay. No I didn't ask for his autograph. And cause I was so cool I didn't want to intrude. Lol I was actually star struck I think. Pax

You’re a good guy, William. I’d love to sit and have a beverage with you and talk music. I think it would be a blast. I burn out my (2) friends I have with my music conversations. In truth, I think I’d burn out almost anyone. I could talk for hours about it. Nobody likes to do that with me and I get self conscious that I’m boring people. :(

Isn't that why we're on this forum? I'm the same way, bore my wife talking about music endlessly.

Yeah, but I have real desire to talk with someone in person about it. That said, I know I’d eventually bore the tar out of anyone. I’m tireless when it comes to music discussion. I wish I could teach a course on it or something lol.

Man, if I was in Dallas again, we'd totally hang, drink beer and talk music.

Always struck me a being as being a fascinating fellow :righton:

Anyway, is it possible to talk too much about music?

When my wife wants me to gabble on without her having to listen too hard, she'll say something something like "Well, who exactly was Uriah Heep's best bassist?" Then she can quietly think about what's on her mind, while I waffle on for an hour or so. It's a happy marriage! :)

I drive my wife.... Almost as crazy as I am. I sleep with ear buds. Even when I'm on here music is in my ear. If you're foolish enough to start me up (like that) I'll never stop. So when I hit the powerball tomorrow night we are getting together one and all for four days of fun and music and nothing but fun and music and I god bless you... Yeah that's why the Man gave us this forum.... We love music.... We do be lucky gentlemen
