    Yeah, I'm just bitter 'cause I didn't get those stage worn gym socks from 1977!!:cussing:

    Full Index of the thread, KISS: The Songs 1974-2012

    The thread started with the 2nd side of the S/T debut, as the first side was briefly talked about in a previous, aborted, thread. After we finished with Monster, we circled back around and covered side one of the debut. To save space, each album is in spoiler tags. Shout it Out Loud!

    I would've been more than happy to pay $200 for the CD's and the book only, the rest I could live without.

    Well, I certainly hope he's making Gene pay through the nose...

    I wonder if the Ace/Gene tour in Australia lends credence to the belief that there's not gonna be a "final" show with the original 4?

    Peter can only manage a song or 2 that's why he's retired.

    Dude, thanks so much. That is so awesome you did that. I’m serious.

    I’m emotional :mudscrying:

    @Cheevyjames love you man!!!’

    I put a lot of work into this thread (as did many) but you doing that for me makes me almost weep.

    I'm betting the last performance of the originals may be in someone's living room with Gene's Vault experience. Not planned, just happens that way. That would be a hoot.

    I bought Alive II when it was released and found the live guitars sounded odd. I figured it had to do with the new guitar wireless system being used. (going wireless was just starting in 77-78 - Ace was shocked (literally) at a show (in 76?) because the guitar wasn't grounded and could have killed him. Also, regarding the studio tracks, although I enjoyed the production (big drums ala Zeppelin) I was disappointed that Ace's only involvement was Rocket Ride.

    Thanks, bro! I'm glad I had the time to do it. Posting a song a day for, what, a year or so? That's a big task and you did an awesome job with this thread. When I was copying the links I caught a bunch of comments and laughed my ass off all over again. All of you MFers who contributed made this thread such a blast.

    One of the gorts also added a link to the index to the first post of the thread. Thanks for the work on the index @Cheevyjames and again thanks to @GodShifter for keeping this going and seeing it through to the end!

    I don't hate R&RAN ,but it's so over played it may take me another 45 years of KISS fandom to get excited about it again.
