does anyone have a wav. file of the data with the factory presets for a Poly-800? I only have a cassette and it's so degraded that I'm only getting the dreaded "err".

    Would be much appreciated!!!

Your welcome kind sir. I still remember my Poly 800 and DR110 drum machine from the eighties I upgraded all the way to a Juno 60 and Moog Source and Emu Drumulator after that :D

Some more advice on this subject please. I have contacted Chris Strellis but so far no reply. My Korg is unmodified. It has only tape and midi inputs. I have downloaded the audio file in the first link above. How do I install them? Transfer them to audio cassette first? If so which of the files? all? And in any set order? I am not used to this kind of gear, sorry to be so clueless. Thanks.

I think you could just take the headphone out of your computer and plug it into the audio in on your Korg. I have one of these that needs the backup battery replaced. I should really dig it out and mess around with it.
