You do realize that the made in Japan DCC Gold CD's never came with a cardboard slip-case as they came in long-boxes, yes?

To be honest, Dave...I have been confused by the information that I have found. I couldn't even find an image of this particular disc. The artwork for the back of the jewel case is of two varieties. Also, one of those has a second variation as well. So, I don't know which is which...or which one I have. I acquired the item 'as is'. Any help or link is appreciated. I love The Doors. I collect vinyl records. This disc is beyond my 'expertise'.
    Thank you, Sir!

For "some" DCC titles you have both a Japan and USA release is all. The catalog numbers prior to GZS-1051 (IIRC) were all long-box made in Japan releases. Some albums only have the Japan release. The Doors did have both because DCC was still licensed to manufacture/distribute the albums they had released when manufacturing moved to the USA from Japan. Everything post GZS-1051, again (IIRC), was manufactured in the USA and only had a slip-cover release.

Does it make more sense now? :)
