Thought I'd share this little joke that I just found. I have the original U.S. and U.K. singles of "Tin Soldier" by Small Faces. For once they sound pretty close, except that the U.S. version lops off the count-in that is heard on the British 45. So I thought I'd check the timings on the label to see if they were the same. The U.S. disk says it's 3:17. Then I looked at the U.K. disk and did a double-take: it said 2.76 -- which, of course, is really the same as 3:16 (two minutes and 76 seconds!) Of course one of them is still wrong. Made me chuckle.
