Thanks for this! I wasn't able to ever find this because of how the user titled it.
This obviously is from 1974, but it's a terrific find.
Also, he mentions that "Fiend Without A Face" is that night's film. A classic.....
This really turned into a real "streak" for all. Absolutely hilarious.

I've always bemoaned that the golden days of Horror Hosts seem to be largely over. However, I've just noticed that one of the cable channels does a Saturday Night Horror Show, with vintage old movies. Was it MeTV ...?

Pretty much everybody who grew up in Sacramento or the Bay Area remembers Bob Wilkins, except, for some reason, my brother's wife. Last year at Cihristmastime, his name came up, and we pulled up a clip on YouTube to show her. A couple minutes in, my dad said "He's talking about me!" (He worked at KCRA back then and knew him well)

That is an awesome find. The late great Jack Dublon who also did the voice of Albert the Alley Cat on WITI-TV 6 in Milwaukee. I have a feeling it was named that for a reason. Harder for the powers that be to pull it.

Growing up in New Orleans would not have been the same without Morgus the Magnificent!

I'm from Milwaukee as well. There is a great book written by the late Dick Golembiewski called Milwaukee Television History: The Analog Years. He has a lot of info on the horror hosts from back in the day. Great to see that footage again.

You are right about his book, and, as I mentioned in an earlier post, even though he has passed away,
his "Milwaukee Horror Hosts" web site is still being maintained. Definitely worth checking it out:

Managed to find just this one lone clip of our local Friday late night horror movie host, Dr. Cadaverino hosting Nightmare Theater with his headless pal Egor, this is a late one, the early ones were B&W and much better. Word is there are no tapes left at all besides this. Sad.

A still of one of his early ones with music:
NIGHTMARE THEATRE / HIGHWAY PATROL WITI TV6 1967

He was a real blast, this was the Milwaukee viewing area 1960-1970's era.
Cadaverino (Jack Dublon) was also the puppeteer for the local news with his well know weather puppet Albert The Alley Cat.

Svengoolie is fun to watch sometimes, seems to have a pretty good following across age groups too:

    Elvira was great too.

So.....Who did you watch growing up?

    This is great!
