rarely do I grow out of a movie I liked in the past...Chinatown OK in my book nothing more...

 

probably watch one of my Robin Williams DVDs...

 

Midnight Cowboy. 10/10
They don't make them like that anymore.

 

Westworld. 8/10
Still a hoot/shock.
Van Diesel in the reboot, no doubt.

 

Vin, yes! love the guy!

 

Angriest Man In Brooklyn...chilling.

 

"Stake Land" - a pretty good vampire movie.

 

Tightrope.
Clint went on to better things.

Chinatown is a snoozefest? Wow, attention spans have dropped sharply in the past 40 years.

just an opinion of a movie we love...different strokes...I'm sure there are tons of movies I love that people do not like, but then again I don't watch a movie for others approval.

 

IMO, there isn't a bad Clint movie...I enjoy all his work.

 

Father's Day...anyone else see this? if so, were you freaked out on some of the stuff Robin was saying? the irony...

We watched "Sinister" with Ethan Hawke tonight. It's a decent supernatural thriller.

 

Yes, its worth watching, but don't go out of your way to see it.

I was shocked that it did'nt grab as it did originally. Also the quasi forties soundtrack irked, never noticed it before.

I watched it again a couple years ago and I found it just as gripping as always, in fact I think it's a film I appreciate more after each viewing. But yeah, I think some people would probably have a hard time dealing with the leisurely pacing.

 

I pre-ordered Season 4 of "The Walking Dead" from Amazon ( we have seasons 1-3). Its supposed to ship on Saturday. I'm going to request Seasons 1-4 of GoT for my birthday & Christmas this year too. I love both of those shows.
