I watched 50/50 on Monday. That's sort of how I feel about it. They had to tack on the sweet happy ending. Music was cloying at times, too.

    River Murders...not bad.

Wanted some good old brainless cop action, and this bad boy combines Chuck Norris, my hometown of Chicago, Illinois, the usual bunch of ex-Chicago cops-turned actors (Dennis Farina for example), and a couple of car chases. YEAH !!!

Grave Encounters - the plot is basically a "reality" ghost-hunting show that actually delivers the creepy goods! Highly recommended & (IMO) as good as, if not better than, Paranormal Activity.

I watched Clueless on BD. It wasn't as good as I remembered. It was boring.

It took me last night and this morn to get through the 4+ hours of Gods And Generals director's cut. I like the added footage. The film was already hideously long. What's a few more minutes.

I watched House Of Games on DVD. It's almost a terrific movie. It's so tense but it doesn't have a great ending, IMO. Still, I like it.

I was totally blown away by this movie, and I regret that I didn't watch it in the theaters when it was new. Its been a long time since a film has made such an emotional impact on me. The soundtrack was also brilliant. Now I have to get hold of Lost Highway and Inland Empire.

Up to Episode 14 of Twin Peaks, Season 2. Enjoying this immensely, each episode shows me another way this show was influential.

I did the same thing (Blu-ray) with Iron Man 2. Liked it better than previous viewings as well. I'm hoping to see Avengers in a few hours. I tried to get my two movie going pals to see this but they're stalling. . . I'll go with them later.

I watched Aspen Extreme on BD last night. It's a loopy, dopey soap opera with cool skiing.
