Yeah, just couldn't get into this one...60's hippy nonsense and not in the good way. Even at 75 minutes it seemed like 4 hours.

Criterion's bluray of 400 Blows. I really liked it when I first saw it a few years ago and had a best buy gift card I used while the sale was on. Enjoyed it again. I know why it's considered so landmark but for me I love the grainy 50s b&w paris, and i just enjoy the film

Guardians of the Galaxy. Didn't catch it at the theatre and I heard it was good.

Picked it up earlier in the week. Took Della to see it at the movies, so she wanted it when it came out on blu ray. An unexpected surprise for me, as I wasn't aware it had been a comic.

  10. Today I grabbed Scream Factory's Tales From The Crypt / Vault Of Horror double feature from Sonic Boom in Toronto.
So glad to finally get Vault Of Horror uncut!

Scream did a great job with this release.

thinking back on those days it was utter nonsense...Rock bands making millions traveling in limos and preaching revolution...Jefferson Airplane leading the pack of phonies...followed by Crosby, Stills, Nash and YOUNG...Mr. Lionel Pono...

Enemy--Actually it's the third movie I've seen this year with Jake Gyllenhaal in it and I enjoyed all three of them on different levels: Prisoners, Nightcrawler, and now Enemy. Enemy was the most perplexing of the three, though I think I got a good idea of what was going on in it. It's a movie for those that enjoy movies that get you to think during and afterwards. It reminded me of some other films as I watched it like maybe Unbreakable or something like Jacob's Ladder. If you also like David Lynch or David Cronenberg, you might like it.
