While I love the classic Quartet, I sometimes run across later titles from the eighties onwards. I have no idea what I'd be in for, either sonically or stylistically. Any fans of his later period? Any particularly outstanding CDs in the TelArc and Concord labels?

i've got park avenue south, one of his last releases, recorded live at (i think) a starbucks in nyc.

for my money, it's a pretty solid release from both a sound quality and material perspective, but that's just me. i wouldn't hesitate to recommend it, as it's not terribly expensive. i really liked the last incarnation of his quartet, with bobby militello on horn and a really capable (says me) rhythm section.

Just You, Just Me (Telarc, 1994) is a nice solo piano recording. He revisits "Strange Meadowlark" and puts his touch on several standards too.

There are several later Brubeck recordings I have not heard myself, so I'm looking forward to see what titles others recommend.
