Less Remastered CD's for SACD

Are we seeing a trend that not so great sounding CD's are not being remastered but only remastered for SACD?. If so, we're being lead (forced) to buy into SACD's like the company's want us too. I see the group Toto remastered for SACD but not CD, and numerous other groups.
This means companies know the majority dont care about remastered
CD's and feel the audio maniacs like us will buy into SACD to get the better sounding CD's. Sounds like a plan already in effect.
Anybody compare SACD police with new CD remasters? for example,
what is the big difference. Thanks
