I watched it, I thought it was pretty good. Didn't totally love it but I did enjoy it. It's worth watching if you have a little spare time.

Watching it now. His "resourcefulness" as a young man is interesting.

Will definitely be watching this. Loved Evel and he was pivotal in creating one of the greatest toys ever..

This is what it was like for me in the 70s after seeing Evel Knievel on TV.

I uploaded this about a year ago. I got lucky, the TV station that broadcast it got the best source copy that I have seen; others versions/releases are really grainy and lower quality.

Chris from Chicago Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes

When I was a kid in the 70's...it seemed like the remote control for life pressed pause any time Evel was on TV. He was what the whole world watched...and then talked about the next day. Maybe the closest thing to a real life super hero to this impressionable 10 year old.

Yeah I was real taken with him as a kid when the George Hamilton movie came out.

In more recent times he starred in a verse to my song Body Parts:

"Evel Knievel's got more metal in his leg than in his cycle.
Fell into a canyon and it did not tickle.
If you ever take a notion to jump the Snake River,
Better make an appointment with your local Grave Digger, yeah.
Everybody's got the right number of body parts except for those who don't."

    Here's a video/gif I made of Evel's infamous Caesar's Palace jump:
