Linda Ronstadt on SNL question

I remember years ago, mid 80's or earlier, I saw Linda Rondsadt perform a song that I just fell in love with, but I have never heard it again. I don't know what it was called, but it wasn't one of her big hits. Does anyone know what songs she performed on Saturday Night Live?

 

The May 19, 1979 SNL featured Linda Ronstadt and Phoebe Snow performing "It's In His Kiss".

Thank you, that very well might be the show, but that is not the song that I am thinking of. They usually do two songs on each show.

 

They also perform "The Married Men,: does anyone have a clip of this song?

 

I recorded all of Linda's SNL appearances as they first aired, including this one. This song was edited from the 60 minute re-runs, so it hasn't been broadcast for a long time. PM coming your way.

I hope the spelling of Linda's name in the title can be fixed.

Yup! Linda even mentions them in her intro to the song, and how Phoebe scooped her in finding it first.

The song is The Shoop Shoop Song (It's In His Kiss) originally by Betty Everette on VJ round 1962 IIRC. Can I get a clip of it too?

my friend did the cutting on those.he was unfortunatley instructed to only include 1 song from a 2 song show aside from the rest of the editing.shame.

 

They also did the Roches married Men. I have the audio.
It is rumored Robert Fripp played acoustic guitar on it.
