He's not coming near me, but since it's not the 3 piece , I'm not crying.

 

Not clear to me, is this tour just Lindsey solo (i.e. "no band" at all?) -- or with his solo-backing-band? No matter, I'm in!

All these listed shows are about 90 minutes for me but....I'm going to try and see him anyway.

So Lindsey was fired from Fleetwood Mac because he didn't want to go on tour.... and now he's touring at the same time they are?

 

I know nothing of his solo material, so this seems like an excellent introduction. I'm in!

 

Right. He didn't want to tour with them because he wanted to do his own touring/solo stuff this year. He said he'd be free in 2019, but they didn't like that, so he got the boot. At least, that's what I read.

 

I’m so glad that the “Out Of The Cradle” album as been well represented in this new 3CD release, as well as the songs he did for certain movies.

I’m just wondering which mastering engineer has mastered this set.

 

This is kind of cool but a remastered Buckingham Nicks is what would really be nice

 

That’s the band’s story but all evidence points to him having wanted to tour concurrently with the band. What the actual sticking point was is unclear. His wife has called out Mick and Stevie for blatantly lying, but no one from his side has gone on record with his side of the story.....yet. His wife has refrained saying it is his story to tell which he will when the time is right.

Brett/Neale from his solo band were in the 2018 FM rehearsal video with Finn/Campbell.

 

I agree, but under the current circumstances I think that would be HIGHLY unlikely.

 

I think his plan/desires might have been slightly different before he was booted from FM. Once booted I'm guessing he had to rethink his next couple years/releases. I think this release and tour are sort of a rebrand of him as an accomplished solo artist.

 

That is a shame, as its such a fantastic album. His best, imo. But I can always just listen to the album and would only be interested in this for any new or unreleased material. Still, if someone who really only knew Lindsey's FM material got this as a way to check out his solo stuff, they're really done a disservice by only getting that one track from the debut.

 

I'm holding out hope it means we're gonna get a deluxe edition of the album.

 

Don't Live Nation have him under contract to play a couple dozen shows?

it's a bs excuse that even Mick Fleetwood is not repeating anymore. now he's just saying "they" (as i guess him and nicks?) decided they are unhappy with LB around.

LB wanted to do solo tour in between Mac dates - so 2 tours at once. he had it all set up too. at least i don't have to waste my money on the Mac now!

In my opinion, that and Bwana are the only two really good songs from that album. It's his least interesting project.

 

Is all the live material on "Disc 3" previously unreleased?
