  1. A lot more money got spent on Out of the Cradle.

Are you sure about that? If that’s the case it wouldn’t include either of the new songs... plus I thought they might want a couple of the live Fleetwood Mac songs on the 1 disc to entice people who must have “Go Your Own Way” on a Lindsey best of.

The girlfriend Carol Ann Harris is probably the reason why those 2 albums only get a song each on this comp.

I was holding out hope for some of the bootleg Gift Of Screws tracks to make it on the deluxe version -- "Come" and "Say Goodbye" would fit nicely -- but I guess that material will forever be in FM territory. And thanks for the presale codes, too. While nothing will beat the '12 Saugatuck (MI) gig for me, seeing him in the Michigan Theater will do nicely.

I love the stacked sound of acoustic drums and electronic drums. There is a cool article in i think Modern Drummer where Jimmy Paxson discusses how unique and specific Lindsey wanted the sounds for the Buckingham Mcvie tour. There is a Lindsey quote there as well. Drums sounded killer on that tour and you could tell Jimmy was impressed.

Is it just me, or is Treason a really beautiful song?

So for Gift of Screws and Say You Will and everything after, he could only afford Crazy Larry's Discount Mastering Emporium?

does anyone know if the live disc is just him (no band). the few YouTube clips seem to suggest so.

If you mean Law and Order and Go Insane... there are five songs from Go Insane on this collection. Including “I Must Go,” a song unambiguously about Carol Ann’s drug problems.

I'm pretty sure that is the same jacket and t-shirt he is wearing as on the cover the Buckingham McVie album though, so he either cheapskated and used an image from the same shoot, or he needs to change his clothes more often :0)

IIRC, first time in his career he's offered paid M&G to general public.

nope. he had bunch of them back in 2012 on One Man Show tour. but they were less professionally done than these seem to be. they were more haphazard, very cheap (between $50-150 including a ticket in the first 2 rows), and people got to really talk with him. we'll see how these will go.

  18. He said in a 1992 interview that unlike “Out Of The Cradle”, both “Law And Order” and “Go Insane” were recorded under somewhat duress.

They almost always start out at around that price...will probably drop down closer to $20.00 nearer to the release date.

First album pickiness I guess but that's a GREAT album. It Was I, Bwana, Johnny Stew, Mary Lee Jones, Satisfied Mind some long hours listening to those. Totally agree Telling You Now would HAVE to be here. And considering how the basics and demos sound on the Rumours and FM albums Law & Order describes his journey. Is it a label or publishing issue because this ought to be rectified ... a real missed opportunity here to showcase some great work.

REALLY??? No room for Shadow of the West either... some nice moody slow stuff that hearkens back to early Mac even! Oh well ... glad to have it... 3 CDs that will be welcome.

I already have all of his solo albums but hell. I'll still buy this .

If only to spite Stevie...;) :)

  23. Especially after what’s happened between him and Fleetwood Mac recently. The man just got it wrong... again (Mick I mean). ;)

I think this is the one his then-girlfriend sang backup on. Lindsey does strike me as the kind to hold a grudge, so no dice on that one, as much as I'd love it to be included.
