So you digitized all your records before you sold them or you just bought the CD versions after you sold the records?
I never digitized anything and certainly not in 1995; I didn't get a computer until 2000 (with the dreaded Windows 98). Like I did before with records, I got CDs of all the stuff that interested me, regardless of genre.
True! By now even many 78 RPM's that have never made it to LP's are available on CD and I certainly would never bring one lousy 78 RPM into my house - I don't get that nostalgic.

Mine was a used 1965 Chrysler, a big boat that I got in 1973. After that I had five other American cars before I got my first import, a late-80s Mitsubishi I bought from my sister-in-law in 1994.
Unfortunately, the majority of Easy Listening records are beyond even my expanded tastes. This goes in the reject pile despite being in fine shape. I think the chorus is what helps push it right over the edge.

Talking about Eric Morecambe, it has always eluded me what was so funny about Morecambe & Wise. Maybe because I'm not English... Now, the Two Ronnies on the other hand... Their "Four candles/fork handles" sketch is unsurpassed.
The recently released Decca Phase 4 box probably does not include this subpar recording. OTOH, I do have a fair number of Phase 4 LP's though I have no plan to get that CD box ...
You are on the wrong side of the 40 divide. I spent two weeks in Scandinavia to celebrate my 40th just by myself ...
