My former neighbor owns a late 50s Aston Martin DB3, about as far away from the DB5 as inaginable. It blew my mind when he told me what it was. It was a huge coupe, not sporty at all. He said he learned to drive using it and the steering was so louse you had to anticipate and start turning the steering wheel before you wanted to turn.

Yes, I noticed. Disc 1 of this set is perfect October music (weather is finally changing here in NY). It's also (by no means a slight) great accompaniment to the silent German Expressionist films I've been indulging in lately.
Anyone is familiar with this box, I have heard Badura-Skoda was an excellent Austrian pianist but do not have any of his recordings ...
